This week’s PhotoHunt theme is Hanging. Here is a picture of what’s left of the basketball net hanging by itself on the hoop. This in-ground steel basketball pole, hoop, backboard, and net are as old as the house. It was installed when the first owners moved-in in 1966. The net felled apart last year, must be from the weather and wear and tear through the 40+ years.

I’ll bet that hoop has many a great story to tell! Great pic!

Great shot of the basketball hoop!
I imagine many balls went through that hoop over the years. Cool photo. One little strand left hanging. A reminder of its glory days.
