Free coffee from the boss
What a surprise today. The boss came in this morning with four grande Starbucks coffee. All black. Ms E and I almost had a heart attack! The boss never ever buys us anything. What made him buy us all coffee for breakfast is beyond us. I could have ask my boss since she is the closest to the boss. I didn’t coz I don’t have a lot of respect for my boss anymore plus we don’t have much to talk about now since we moved to the corner the boss had “fought” for two years, we four are now a “close-knit” family. *Please kill me!* I totally hate where I am and so is Ms E.
We are both contemplating leaving our department at the same time and leave the boss and my boss high and dry. Pretty bad of us, but we are sick of their excuses when we challenge about our increments, work load and how much my boss take advantage of her flex hours and work from home benefits. It bugs me when my boss ask me what Ms E is doing or if she has complete this and this. I wanted to tell her if she was not always on vacation and work from home so much, she would know what Ms was doing. I told Ms E about it and told her how unhappy I am with my boss.
Can’t do much now but to wait it out till things are more stable in our house. I need this job, so far there’s job security for me, it pays the bills and gives me benefits. I have to hold my tougue every day and when the boss and my boss works from home or off on her flex day, I’m so happy, Ms E and I goofed off. We really need to stop that but when the cat is not around the mouse is out partying.

sorry to hear that , some boss are reallt bitch or asssshole .but like you say when we need a job to pay bill , we just go along , i hope you will get a good job and a good boss when time ready for you xxxx thinking of you all the time bless you xxxx one more day to go is weekend xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Pearly, the two bosses never shares nothing with me and my coworker. No staff meeting and now this good old cup of coffee is totally scary. Maybe they know my coworker and I are not happy at our jobs. Whatever it is, we are very cautious now.

On the flipside maybe he has a change of heart or had one of those body change thingy, near death experince like what you see in movies. hahaha……
That’s what my coworker, Ms E and I are thinking. We should be glad we got a job, no salary cuts like Delta Airlines’ employees (50% cut). Drinking that cup of coffee was quite hard to swallow.

Hi, i came to your blog from amanda’s wordpress blog. Please don’t take my suggestion the wrong way but I feel you should privatize this post. The blog has your pics on it and we never know who maybe reading it. My gf had a hard time at work cos her boss was reading her blog and all the not so nice comments.
