How would you feel if….

17 July 2007 by Two Crazy Dogs

….. your boss does not like your appearance?

….. your boss does not like the way you walk?

….. your boss thinks you walk too slow?

….. your boss does not like you as a person?

….. your boss does not like the way you talk?

…. your boss does not like the way you schedule appointments?

….. your boss does not like how you perform your job?

…. your boss finds any minute faults to stir up some good shit to burn your ass?

….. your boss keeps writing you up for the above?  Not once, but twice.

….. your boss wants to control your every movement?

Why don’t the boss just say it out loud - “I don’t like you.”

That boss is asking for trouble.  Did he go over the papers with HR before he wrote you up?  I don’t think so.  Because if he did, HR would have caught a lot of the above.  They are great ingredients for a good lawsuit case.  Hostile environment, race discrimination, American Disability Act and there are a few more which I will leave it for now.

My answer to all of the above is go the Dept of Human Rights!!  File a lawsuit against that stinky B.Oed. scumbag, and make the company pay.

Another night of restless sleep.

Hi Dawn, saw your callsign in Aiyah Nonya’s blog. Just curious or kaypoh, sibuk over your blog, as used to have a friend named ‘Dawn’ too….but that was wayyyyyy back once upon a time. Nope, you too young.
Wow! You sure got a heck of a boss, huh?
My wife too has one, a femail alien who she says not a human being, sees everyone like a glass window, and her face in the day like her hubby chabut off with neighbour’s maid kind, ha ha.
But you in US, so can take appropriate actions.
Long ago I too had a boss who behaved like a vampire, literally speaking, he really made our blood boil, put egg on head sure over cooked.
So one day, I ta’boleh tahan confronted him, prepared to lose my job too, but also help others same dept, especially he made couple of girls cry too. That did it!
I typed out a formal letter with his name, office address, as well listed out about 30 of his worse than Ghengis Khan’s behaviour…his behaviour would make Conan the Babarian seem a gentleman by comparison..the letter was addressed to three newspaper editors, as well TV station and the Asst. Police Commissioner…
I saw him in his room, he of course with his ‘good manners’ said ‘WHAT YOU WANT’?
With everyone outside watching, I told him off shocking him and before he could answer, I said, ‘here, read this, please, its your copy, I am now going out to post the other 4 copies’. (Actually its my psychological bluff….hey, I play poker la, ha ha).
Holy Smoke, you should have seen him run after me grabbing me like a long lost lover, and stopping me.
And you know what? I made him stand there and apologise to everyone, plus an official handwrtten apology to everyone. He did it.
He practically became a born again Christian after that, ha ha. I still had my job.
But you know what, a month later he shook my hand for “waking me up”.
Yes Dawn, life can be tough sometimes, as there are Aliens among us.
But the sun will still come up tomorrow, Dawn, so smile, and you have a nice day. UL.

I’ve had bosses like that too. Felt like I could not even breathe right.

Hi Uncle Lee, thanks for dropping by my online journal. I just write whatever I want to. You are welcome to drop by and kaypoh at anytime. I was referrring to my hubby’s boss. I’m at lost trying to tell hubby to suck it up with his boss’s micro-managerial style if he wants to continue to receive paychecks. I don’t want to see that because of hubby’s stubborness, he gets fired bcoz of insubordination. There are some consequences to think about if he gets fired because of insubordination: no income, no unemployment income.

I used to be in the HR arena, think I’m in HR for too long?? :)

SA - my boss at the travel company was like that. Everything has to be her way….just feels like there’s no room to breathe.

    What a boss !
Because of the pay check he does need to suck up to him. But it can be very hard to ‘yaan’. I hope all goes well though . Mean while look for another job .

    Cheer up and Chin up!

AN - that’s the only thing he needs to do now is look for another job and at the mean time do what he needs to do to make the boss happy. That would be hard for a stubborn old man.
