No show we thought….

Our realtor will send us an email if there is any potential showings on so and so day. Yesterday we agreed to a showing for this morning, Saturday at 9:45 a.m. DB and I got up early and started to do our usual clean up, not the best at least pick up and vacuum. At 9:30, we left the house with the boys to the school field for the boys’ run/exercise. We sort of picked the wrong time coz the sun was getting warm and I forgot my sunscreen. Yeah, I’m getting really anal about the brown spots and wrinkles!!! If only I can find the best wrinkle cream for my eyes, I be happy!

Anyways, back to his damn showing thing, we were at the school field for about 30 minutes and took a slow drive back home. I went in first to check if the realtor and client came.  Normally after each showing, the realtor who brought his/her client for the showing will leave a business card on the table for us, informing us that they have been here.  Well, i didn’t see any card on the table or anywhere else in the house. I went back to the truck telling DB there was no show, and we, “the family” went out for another joy ride again in hopes that those folks will show up soon, at least by 10:45.  We only give an hour window for the showing.

Driving around aimlessly is totally sickening knowing that we still have commitments at home to finish for the weekend.  11 a.m. came, headed home and we checked the house for the business card.  No card, so we thought those folks didn’t show up.    Blardy hell, wasted our time out there driving aimlessly.  The main level of the house looks normal except for the door to the basement.  I remember closing it shut but it was ajar.  I asked DB, he and I went downstairs and he said those guys came coz he purposely left the door under the stairs open and it was shut tight.

What doorknobs!!!  Didn’t bother to even leave the card as an indication they were there.  Well, I told DB to remind our realtor that I need at least 24 hours before a show because of the dogs and each show is only for an hour.  No more no less, especially when I have to handle 3 dogs on my own.  I’m so “looking” forward to those days…read the sarcasm?
