My favorite toy
I had always wanted my own digital camera and was scouting around town and on the internet for one. I was eyeing for the Sony CyberShot and thought to myself I will get it when I have enough funds in my savings. Out of the blue on a quiet afternoon, the doorbell rang and the UPS guy dropping off some parcels at the front door.
DB had bought me a camera. He got me a Canon PowerShot A630. Not what I really want, but that camera do produce some wonderful pictures for the price. I’m not complaining. It is a 7.1 megapixel camera and it captures enough detail for beautiful photo quality. I absolutely love the 14 different shooting modes that comes with the camera, and it also controls the exposure settings and flash which makes all the shots exactly what I was shooting for.
I use my camera for all sorts of things I want to take picture of. My boys especially because they are so goofy like the picture below. Candid and I was surprise how well the picture turned out.

In addition, I like using the Macro feature for close-ups and the Foliage feature for flowers or plants.
I have no regrets with this camera at all. It is bulky, however, it produces superior pictures. Great buy and just love it.

Pearly, the digital camera goes every where with me. You have 4 cats? Cats easier to take care, right? I want a cat for the house – to catch mice, hubby said NO. He’s allergic to cat dander. You have a good day too.

We just brought a dog home from the pound. Poor thing, he was abandoned – a Miniature Pinscher. This dog does take up my time. Luckily I am not working at the moment but I pity him if I get a job and out of the house the whole day. He won’t like it. He is very “manja” and follows me around the house.
Anyway, that is a cool digital camera. I hope to upgrade my camera someday. Right now, my 5 megapixel works just fine. I am waiting to afford a 10 megapixel. haha
Hi J.T.,
I couldn’t believe how much of my time I need to give to my dogs. The two are my other shadow in the house. You can kennel him in the house when you are work. My dogs didn’t like it, but I rather kennel them then come home to a tornado-stricken home! You need to take pictures of the new addition to the family now!

So that’s one of your dog. So cute. :)
Che-Cheh, yes, that’s Ranger, one of them. He is really cute, and well behaved but once on his walks, he’s a whole different dog.

Hi there Dawn,
How have you been?
Aww, how sweet of your DB to buy you a camera. Lucky, lucky you!
I have a Sony Cybershot 7.2megapixel since 2005. Until today, I still haven’t figure out how to make the best out of it. I just sucks at gadgets..
By the way, that close up pic of your doggie is really clear. Can even count how many whiskers he have. hehe! Your doggie is really cute and look so friendly. What about the other dog. I would like to see the close up pic of it too.=)
Well, you have a nice weekend.
Nicole
Hi Nicole,
IYeah, I have to say he spoil me a lot. Out of the blue, he will buy this and that and surprise me. To be honest, I still have not found the time to dink around with the camera’s features except for the simple ones. The Sony Cybershot was the one I wanted, but oh well…
That other dog’s picture is somewhere in my hard drive, that dog has turrets or something. He cannot sit still for me to take a good picture. I will see if I can find one of his taken with the new camera.

Hi Dawn, thats a beautiful camera. Wow! What a hubby. He sure sayang you lots and knows your wants. Ha ha.
I still have my 12 year old Nikon SLR film camera. Anyway, I only use it for my hobby of taking portraits, of friends, mostly lady friends. Ha ha.
But this camera of yours is a very good one, very popular here I read.
Have a nice day, Dawn. UL.
Hello Uncle Lee, thanks for dropping by. Yeah, this hubby definitely knows what I want and not. As I told Nicole, he spoils me all the time. DB has an old, very archaic Nikon too, that he hardly uses it. He said it’s too cumbersome. He bought it from Goodwill and it’s collecting dust in the basement.
You have a good one, too!
