Weekend’s breakfast/lunch

I was cooking this bowl of noodles this morning at 9:30 for my breakfast. Usually when I cook this big bowl of noodles, it will be lunch, too. Db shouted from his office, “What smells so good from the kitchen?” “Tom yum noodles, you want some?” He came out from his office and saw this big bowl of noodles.
DB: “Holy schomkes!! Take a picture of this big bowl of noodles.”
Me: “What the heck for?” I’m going to eat it like now coz I’m so hungry.”
DB: “Oh come on, it takes a few seconds. I want a picture so I can send it to my mom. I want her to see what I’m talking about when I tell her you are having noodles.”
So, I did. He calls his mom every weekend and each time he calls her, I’m in the middle of eating my weekend food. He tells her I put a lot of stuff in my noodles, basically I put tofu, meatballs, frozen green beans and eggs. Yes, I will eat them all, but then I will walk the extra 30 minutes in the evening, plus vacuum and clean the bathrooms. That way, I don’t feel guilty

Your bowl of noodles look good. I tend to eat a lot too but I burn it off by doing lots of work around the house. Mowing the lawn feels like I have spent 45 minutes at the gym. haha
Hi J.T., Noodles is my comfort food. Hubby still won’t let me mow the lawn. He said the mower is bigger than me, hence I have to walk/run or jump on the eliptical.

So, what did DB have ?
That guy had eggs, breakfast sausages and toast – typical American breakfast. Guess he’s not like us Asians, got to have that bowl of noodles for breakfast!

No wonder he had to show your ‘weird’ breakfast to his mom.
Wasted is right. Told him his mom will faint when she see it.
