DB and I have always wanted to expand our garage.  We treat the garage as another sitting area during late spring and fall.  Move the cars out to the driveway, pull out the lawn chairs and milk crates, the party of four or sometimes five, will  have a place to hang out.  The garages we saw in our neighborhood are all practically been upgraded.  Ours need a face lift badly.  If we cannot expand our garage, DB said we need to seal the garage floor.  Car Guy Garage.com has a product to coat the garage floor with epoxy.  Coating the garage floor with epoxy will ensure it will last a long time.  Another thing we talked about is if we cannot installed cabinets in the garage, getting a tool chest to store all the tools, nuts, screws, washer, bolts, nails and whatever else he has in different places, would be a wonderful investment.  It would safe him a lot of grievances.
