I’m so excited!!
My ai-yah brother emailed me coupla nights ago and asked me how far am I to Minneapolis NE or the airport. I’m like, “Huh? What the hell?” So, I told him how far they are and he said he will be in town end of the month per customer’s request. It is a fly-in fly-out kinda deal. So, I told him to let me know in advance if I should meet him for lunch instead of dinner since the customer will be arranging his itinerary. He said he will keep me posted.
Tonight he sent an email to tell me to look in advance for a nice restaurant for us to go to when he’s in town. Die lah, he is a vegetarian and I’m a carnivorous, nevertheless I thought it’s okay if I have vegetarian for a night, it won’t kill me. I won’t have withdrawals. “Sweat and more sweat, drool and droollll”. It’s actually better for me, anyways. So now I have homework to do – go Google some vegetarian restaurants or some nice fancy restaurants in Minneapolis, St Paul or the Mall of America. Another person I can go ask is my boss and my “mentor”. They are experts in eating out at fancy restaurants.
I’m just pumped to get to meet him for the first time. Can’t wait.

What jalan-jalan….I think she is going to grill him non stop.
Good thing he only chow on grass..can eat faster…more time to grill him.

Shopping mum – Thanks! No jalan-jalan with him-I can count on that. He said he likes Indian food – might go chow at this new restaurant in Eagan.
Mae – yep, will be “interrogating” him and he might be doing the same too. OK, will try to take some pictures of us.

Samm – is he vegetarian, so, I think I don’t mind eating grass, lentils, and tofu for one meal. Actually, i love Indian food. Hopefully he’s up to it. And if hensem or not, oklah from the picture Mae sent me.

Indian food…hmm ..sekali really clean his system the othe way round (lou sai)…too spicy…then die man.He is sure to remember you!

mae – I asked him, he said he likes Indian food. He gets them at the organic food store – pre-made. Hiyah, he told me to check out the organic store, Trader Joes – poor man’s place to shop for organic food which is 25 miles from my home. TOld him I will stick to the one nearer my home which is 3 minutes drive.

Mae – ai-yah tai loh said he is now very coucsious of what he is eating bcoz of 2nd brother’s death at a very young age and also our father’s 7th bro died of a heart attack at the age of 43.

Yvy – hey thanks for stopping by. No, have not met aiyah tai loh yet. maybe end of the month but I can’t wait to meet him in person. Probably watching me eat all the meat will make him puke!
