SD sent this to me couple weeks ago. I know for a fact that those who I know and are working, and pay their taxes agrees to this below message.
Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me.
I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test
with which I have no problem.
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people
who don’t have to pass a urine test. Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine
test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them??
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on
their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone
sitting on their ass, doing drugs, while I work… Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public
assistance check ?????
I totally do not agree with the state’s thinking of welfare. Minnesota has the most generous welfare program in the country. If folks still have a pair of good limbs, get their lazy butts out and look for a job. I rather see my taxes go to the National Guards or the Reserves.

What is this urone test thingy ?
Sounds like a drug addicts routine test.
A urine test is a pre-employment test routine done by many companies. It is to test if you have any substance in your system - narcotics, coke, pot, meth and who knows what else they test. I had to take one for each of my job. If you are taking any prescription drugs which will show up in your pee test, you need to bring along the drug and a note from the doctor.

mah fan!
And I thought it is a free country.
Yeah, it’s mah fan, but ithat pee test is so worth it in the employee standpoint. working in HR I have seen enough of employees found intoxicated while at work on machines and driving forklifts. I don’t feel bad for these idiots for taking drugs while at work.

Totally agree. I will never give money to those beggars on the street with healthy arms and limbs.
This is what I call BUMS.
