Allergies, stress or wth

The above picture was taken last week Tuesday. Not sure if the inflammation can be seen but to me, I could see it on my neck. It was getting a little better and it finally went away on Friday.

It all started with just an itch and then itcher as the day goes on and the itching quits if I put some anti-itch lotion on. I don’t even know how my neck gets inflammed. It gets redder the next few days and the worse is when I sweat while doing housework, exercising or driving since my car has no air conditioning, the sweat burns the crap out of my neck.

Honestly all these started back in June but I took it as a sign of stress. Something about when are you stressed and your immune system is low, you get this kind of inflammation. It takes about a couple of weeks to clear up and once it gets better, the red inflammed area will turns to dry scalley skin….like a frigging snake, peeling. It can be really ugly.

So on Sunday, 9th, I went out for Chinese dinner with my friend and her family. All of a sudden I was itching my neck. Throughout the whole weekend, with Zumba, vacuuming and shampooing the carpets, I was fine, no itch or burn. But that night, i was itching and itching. Then I saw the shrimp (prawns). Was eating a them with eggs and that dish was good too.

Today this is what my neck looks like.

I am going to wait till next month when I go in for my annual physical. Save me some co-pay that way. I am guessing I’m now allergic to shrimp which is going to be a bummer. Besides the rubbery sotong aka cuttle fish and crab shrimp are the only seafood I like. I don’t fancy fish unless it’s deep fried! Who doesn’t like deep fried food, anyways???

I guess I will stay away from shrimp from now on but towards my doctor’s apptmt which I have yet to make, I will eat a ton of them and see if I get this itchiness and redness.

Can see some redness on your neck. I’ll be too bad if you’re allergy to good ole shrimp.

My mom have neck and hands inflammation few months back. Went to the doc and he said maybe allergy to detergent (guessing only), cancelling out food allergy coz for dunno what reason already. Anyway he prescribed her some medic and she’s fine now.
