Since I sort of wrecked my knees from all the years of running, I am itching to run again especially the weather turned colder. Pretty soon the snow will fly and that is when I yearn to run the hiking trails. I have used ice packs for my injured knees but it is not helping much either from me doing jumping jacks and Tae-bo. I know I should buy knee straps or knee guards for my knees, but I thought it would heal by itself in due course by not pounding on the streets or trails. My friend recommended I should use the Swiss Ball to do my floor exercises instead of Tae-bo and running. I can do my Pilates using the ball, too. The ball is great for balance, flexibity, and improves posture. It also helps with treating back pains and strengthening the core muscles. I will have to replace my old ball with a new one – a bigger one. I am using the old ball now as a chair in my home office while I am working at the computer.
