Char Siew

By | November 13, 2007

OK, Db cooked the first batch of char siew couple of weeks ago.   Between the both of us, we finished it on yesterday.  He told me to marinate the other tenderloin on Saturday.  So I did but he didn’t get to cook it on Sunday.  I baked it last evening in the oven, and broiled it for the last 10 minutes.  It is now Db’s favorite type of pork: great for sandwiches, snacking and cooking.  Looks like I need to hunt these marinates from the store when I’m back from vacation.

hello,
the char siew looks good, it looks juicy. Now, I am wondering, why the ones that I baked is kinda dry? By the way, what is broil?Probably I need to add in the step..haha

oh, the Cub Food in Bloomington has them
(the char siew marinate). I just went groceries shopping on Sunday. They have a bigger variety of ethnic food compared to the ones that I go.
