Kong Hei Fatt Choy – Belated!
Aiya, I know I’m late. Wishing all of you folks Gong Xi Fa Cai. May the year of piggie brings you tons of happiness and wealth.
My CNY was spent with Simmie and Jenn Peninsula restaurant. I didn’t take any pictures…camera kaputed. So, if you want to see the pictures, you gotta hop over to Simmie’s blog picture gallery.

Glad you got to have a dinner. For me it is not CNY without a dinner with friends and family. :)
Though I really have to watch my accent. I learned that I have been telling folks Happy Birthday and not Happy New Year.

Wah ! Manage to surface from your sea of books already ah ? :)
I have already check it out.
The dishes look suik-ka-ling-gam.
How come all of you look so dull.CNY must wear red and he abit hiao lah!
Red to attract the ‘choi sun yeh’
At least you saw a lion dance. All I had was only the ‘toong toong chang’.All day long but did not see the lion. The curse of staying in piegon holes.
Plus nowadays if you want to put on the CNY music in a public place, one need to pay for the copyright. So it is bloody quiet at all the stalls and malls.
I know those CNY music are corny, noisy and irritating at times but it all adds up to the CNY festivities.Without it seems like something is missing.

aiyah nonya: cos it’s our coats mah…how you know what we wear underneath??? Maybe Dawn was wearing red underwear :P
yvy: I had the impression that you’ve met up with them already. Aiya, sometimes, you must take charge and plan the gathering or no one will do it. Conveniently, I was in the area during CNY weekend, so I guess that worked out good for us.
