Pictures are up
We hung some pictures up on Tuesday. These pictures are the hardwork done by my sis, her cross-stitched all framed up when I was in Ipoh. They have been sitting on the guest bed for almost a month, collecting dust.
These four pictures only costs RM$44 for the framing. Man, if I were to take these to Michael’s or Joann’s, it will cost me a bomb, probably US$200 total. My mom took me to this shop in Pasir Pinji (or is it Pasir Putih), that guy said he will charge RM$12 each. My mom said, nope, RM$11/each. So RM$11 it was for each picture after bargaining. Wow, I still could not believed it for that price, and my mom still wants to negotiate the price down! We put the above four pictures in the hallway facing the entryway.
The above three were also done by my sis, who else, certainly not me! I tell you, the workmanship for all her crafts are just superb!! Yeah, now she thinks I’m “bodeking” (kiss ass) her. I’m not, it’s the truth. The folks at Michael’s who framed the housewarming gift praised it and so did those other customers at the framing center. Anyway, back to where I was going…..these three pictures, sorry, I’m not sure how much they costs. My mom and sis took the three pieces of cross-stitched to the same shop for framing when I was on my way to KL, and brought the completed sets to KL before I left M’sia. We wanted to hang these three up in the living room, but the color of the mats are the same color as the living room. It ended up on the wall outside our bedroom.

Yeah, that’s my mom, see how pretty her legs are! 
She will kill me if she sees this!

hahahhaa…..Glad you guys like those mediocre sewing of mine.
The second set of frames cost the same because the guy knows Mother.
That shop is real messy with mosquitos a plenty but his work have never failed us.So, if you are not gonna tell her, I will be cool!
Your sewing ain’t mediocre to me and DB. He loves them. He kept saying how delicate the stitches are. Oh yes, I forgot how bad the skeeters were when I was there. Really got DB badly!

Ya, me again. This time the sickening H asked are there any buyers for those pictures.
Said if any one wants them sell them and make some money.Don’t he knows they are gifts !!!!
That is what he have been telling me but I prefer doing them for pleasure and knowning where and who my hard work is going to.
I’m sure there will be consumers out there who are attracted to cross-stitch work, and are willing to pay for the workmanship. Two, three hundred a piece, maybe?
And you are right, giving your work to the people you know who so appreciates your work is worth the effort.
