The weekend’s weather was bone chilling.  The arctic blast the midwest with temperatures dipped down to minus 20F in the evenings with windchill of minus 45F.  The snapshot below was Friday afternoon at 2:15 p.m.  When I got home I took the boys for their walk.  Like I told DB, it wasn’t that bad since I have a very good LLBean parka, only my face suffers the most.  I don’t usually pull the face cover up because of my sunnies.  I gotta have the sunnies due to the sun and it can be extremely bright bouncing off the snow.

Saturday’s temperature was the worse.  The high for the day actually was -4F with the wind howling.  The boys went out did their business and didn’t bothered to stay out for too long.  They were at the door step knocking on the door!  Obviously I didn’t go for my walk, just stayed home and watched movies and my school videos.

Yesterday, Sunday, the football game between New England and San Diego was on but I didn’t watch it, but the Patriots (New England) won.  I was more interested on the game between Wisconsin, Packers and New York, Giants.  Yes, the Giants won 23 – 20 on overtime.  The temperature in Green Bay, Wisconsin where the Packers and Giants are was -4F with windchill of -35F.   Even tho it was so darn cold, the players were damn good.  I really give credit to Brad Favre.  That guy is in his 40s and still playing so well.  It was a disappointment to the Packers to loose that game, lost the chance to another Super Bowl.  So, Super Bowl in two weeks, will be between The Giants and The Patriots.   We watched the game on a big screen with 70F degrees in front of a fire!!!  Nice and warm.
