I have one in a cabinet exactly like that one, but the decorations are different and mine had been electirfied. It is missing some of the parts to make it work as a treadle. I have been able to collect some of them to restore it to its former state, but have not been able to find a "pittman arm". You can find out the date of its manufacture and where it was made at the Singer company website by looking up int serial number. BTW, your grandfather is handsome, too.
