- Blogging on my life events & whatever that comes to my mind!

This week’s theme is Free. I can’t really find some thing that is describe as “free” in my picture collection. I can only think of one thing, that is my dog, Ranger. We adopted him from the kennel he was bred. We didn’t pay a dime for him. We called up the owner of the kennel, Mandy, and asked her if she knows anyone who has a dog for adoption. She said she actually has one in her own kennel that needs a family to go to. A dog that she rescued from the owner she sold Ranger to.
Ranger was three years old when we picked him up on May 2003, a real chow hound. His life revolves only in food because that was how he was brought up: a bucket of food and water in the backyard with no human contact. He was a case of negligence from a pup to his adulthood. He is now eight years old and still a chow hound but we are not worried about that. Even though we didn’t send him for any obedience classes, he is quite well behaved and as long as there’s food around, he will sit, down, shake hands and come to you in a heart beat. We have no regrets adopting this funny dog – he has the noisiest and stinkiest farts ever, and he will play “dead” when he’s in a playful mood.
hahaahaha…..you crack me up with the noisiest and stinkiest farts again. hmmm…must be the food he eats
Beautiful dog, sad story. Glad he has a good home now.
Oh Ranger is just so beautiful!! And a free-unconditional love he gives you too, I’m sure.
If you haven’t visited my ‘free photo’ drop by —but wait, visiting hours aren’t free by any means. It costs you to surf the ‘net! rofl Drop by if you can. I’d love to have you share your comments.
Ranger looks so well taken cared of. Lucky dog.
Ranger is a lovely dog! How sad that he has such a horrible start in life. But wonderful that he found a loving Forever Home with you.
wow beautiful dog.we have our free puppy too and oh too bad i was not thinking that we have her for free hehe..check out my entry too..after all it’s free to view and doesn’t cost u a dime lol

Free Ranger… Great Post!!
Ranger looks adorable! I’m glad he found a better home than the one he grew up in. People treating animals like that, should be subjected to the same treatment!!
Ranger sounds like a great dog. And a great find for free.
My Missy was totally free too. Sorry, I can’t imaging another dog having smeller farts then hers.
I think all dogs fart, but some worse than others! Free dogs are great – no cost except FOOD!!! and loads of free love.
Ranger is so adorable and looks so lovable.
Our dog was from a pound too and apparently he had a bad puppy-hood (if there is such a word).
He has some scars (fur not growing in some places) and the vet could only guess that he may have either been tied up tightly or a bigger dog bit into him.
Whenever I hear of dogs being saved from their bad experiences, I am happy. I cannot understand how can some people be cruel to dogs (or other animals for that matter).
Dogs are always so wonderfully free. Great story.
wow! you have a very nice picture and I love the way you put consistency of the picture, indeed that is a great post for this week theme! keep it up!!!

Have a great Weekend!!!
I found your blog from the “Big Bang”. Cool blog!
I also have a great dog named Ranger! He looks like a brindle colored Lab. If you go to my website, you’ll see a picture of him there. It sounds like your Ranger has a great home!
I believe it is the nicest free thingy to have cos dogs are humans’ best friends. Dun you think so?
Ranger is so cute, but he looks shy though. Kudos to you and your hubby for giving Ranger a home sweet home.
So sad to hear about his past, but I know that with you and your hubby’s care and love, he is sure one happy dog, that is why he doesn’t mind to present you both is noisiest and stinkiest dog fart, hehehe. He is such a silly dog too.
