I’m sure someone will recognize this mug. These pictures are not the best, but it still manage to capture the pertinent info I want.
I had this mug since December of 1989. I can’t believe it’s still in one piece. I have been using it for my water or chinese tea.
There are a few cracks on the outside but no leaks yet. For some reason, this mug gives me sentimental thoughts of home. If I remember right this mug was given to me during some sort of big dinner with my sister, BIL, and I think I was someone’s date(??) and that someone won the mug and gave it to me.
Almost 18 years and this mug is still holding up.
RSS Vigour was commissioned in 1990. She went as far as Down Under and even rub noses with the Kiwis. That trip was the longest that she have ever sailed. H was on board for that two and half months trip. Their port of call includes Surabaya, Darwin, Townsville, Sydney, Auckland, Noumea(New Caledonia), Cairns, Darwin, Bali and back to the little Red Dot.
Sailed, crossed the Great Barrier Reef and the Equator.
H said it is his best trip in his how career.
RSS vigour is now 17 years old and still sailing the seas.
She is going for a ‘face lift’ soon.
He thanks you for the memories and still keeping that mug.
