Nikki and her own room
By Three Crazy Dogs | March 2, 2008
Deena was talking about moving her daughter, Nikki, to her own room. The girl will turn 3 next month and has been sleeping in her parents room ever since she was born. Deena and I went out on Thursday to check out the beddings and room decor for the little girl. After much deliberation, Deena’s hubby said they should get a full size bed with a tempurpedic mattress for their munchkin. Deena said she still prefers Ikea’s kids bedroom furniture and decor, plus Nikki now has her own preference of what she wants for her room, and obviously that kid has gone to Ikea a few times.

I like Ikea stuff too. The best part is doing the assembly.
Thanks for the birtday wish.

Hi Dawn, I for one will not go overboard for Ikea stuff. But they do have nice furniture.
You know what I’ve always loved, even today?
Those old Nyona Rosewood, mother of pearl long benches, settee or sofas, as well those round kitchen tables with mother of pearl and polished granite top, and those old fashioned Nonya style beds…come in from one side only.
By the way Dawn, do you cook ‘ayam tempra’, ‘devil curry’, and cakes….’sugee cake’?
How’s the weather your side? UL.
