It started with rain yesterday which turned to snow and more snow this morning. Those wet kind of snow where it sticks to everything. It made commute to work really shitty. It took me 25 minutes to get to work. Freeways were ploughed but still the falling snow was not fun for morning commuters. There were a few spun outs which served them right. But the thing with these kind of snow fall, they are really pretty - fresh white snow on the trees and every thing it touches.

These pictures were taken by DB. I got to work, I asked him for a favor. I asked if he could take some pictures of the fresh snow for blogging material, he said no probs. Yeah, he’s a sport!

Those are beautiful pics. You guys have that amount of snow? I don’t think we have that much in Chanhassen. It was so wet though.
I was already looking forward a dry weekend so I can bring Nicholas for the Easter egg hunt.
So hoping no more snow or rain..
Nicole
Nicole, we had about 3 inches of snow. they are pretty much gone today with 47 degrees out. Another round coming tomorrow night and will be gone by sunday…all ready for your easter egg hung.

I like seeing the snow on the pics…it is so lovely, but to be communting in that kind of weather is another story all together.
Hello Nyonya, thanks for dropping by. I totally hate driving if there’s snow sticking on the roads, but my hubby really likes foooling around on the sideroads. Purposely svere just to make the truck svere to wherever he wants. Guys….

Hi Dawn, I love photography, especially portrait photography, but these shots taken by DB, are really beautiful! Well taken and depth and perspective just nice showing the homes in the background, and can feel the cold just looking at his shots.
We have been buried since late November, and I have two neighbours, can’t even see their cars, they away in Florida, I think, but their cars like encased in glass. They can’t get into their cars, too risky to break the solid ice over their car.
Anyway, temp going up, now cool around -2′c.
Shouldn’t be long we get that 10′c, and see the green, green grass of home.
My wife already taking out my Summer clothes, ironing and slowing putting away our winter clothes. Spring starts today! YeeeeeHaaaa!
Stay warm Dawn, and dri ve carefully. Best re gards, Lee.
