Photohunt: Metal

PhotoHunters

Metal is this week’s  theme.   I found a picture of a scale in my parents’ home, a scale that is made of metal from top to bottom.  It is not the best picture for this hunt, but it still works, right?  It has kati and pounds, and I forgot to ask my mom where she got it from.   I’m sure my sis will tell me.

  14. jesie:
Reminds me of another type which is called dacing which has katis and tahils. 16 tahils make one kati.

Cool… I remember this type of scale. I think in small town in Malaysia, shop owners (sundry shops) still use them.

Must be an old scale. The hook reminds me of a character in an old movie about a man with a hook hand. Is the scale still working?
