6 non-important things about me
26 March 2008 by Two Crazy DogsYvy presented this tag to me on 6 non-important things about me.
These are the rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
And here are 6 non-important things about me:
- I like to smell the boys’ paws and ears
- I try to avoid candy not because of growing sideways, but because of cavities
- I love grill brats to the max and that’s the only way I like them
- I prefer cool/cold weather than hot weather
- I change tennis shoes every 4 months
- I do not like to speak to small or big groups of people
I will tag SY, Stef, Cat, Pearly, CY, and J.T.
Feel free to do it, if not, I won’t bite ya!

Thanks for thinking of me. I will do this tag when I return from my blog break. I was going to announce a sabbatical by mid-next week.
You change tennis shoes every 4 months??? You must use them often and wear them out very fast.
J.T.’s last blog post..A minute of your time, please
Hi J.T.,
Thanks, but if you don’t feel like working on the tag, no worries. Oh yes, I change my tennis shoes, the one I wear every day twice a day to walk the boys. We go 3 miles a day, and weekend more. Actually hubby got me into changing my tennis shoes often for continuous feet support.

And changing tennis shoes every 4 months? You do 12 miles jogs, play badminton, take doggies for walks everyday? Ha ha.
Ahhh, glad to read you enjoy the cold. Me too. And its Spring, and radio just mentioned to expect more snow later!
We sure have long winters. Forgot the colour of grass, ha ha. Stay cool, Dawn, UL.
Hi Uncle Lee,
Yeah, for some reason, their ears and paws smell good to me! Crazy!!
Changing my tennis shoes so often was my hubby’s idea since he said I wore them down with my twice a day 3.5-mile walks and weekends 5-mile walks/hikes. The soles are always down to pratically flat with no threads left. So, DSW sure gets good tennis shoes business from me. Plus the constant change of shoes gives me the continuous support which really helps with my feet now. My feet are not in the best condition any more but I still kept on pounding the roads!
Bring on the grass but keep the weather cool for me, I’m all for it! Thanks for dropping by Uncle Lee.

I rub noses, smooch with them and also sniffed their snouts all the time too. Dog lovers we are, I guess!

Tennis, walking or sports shoes - Er…I think mine had been donated to the recycle bin and have not been replaced since then.
Yeah, that’s my weird of me to do that.
