A snap of a finger, fall is here

Comments Off

Since I came to Minnesota, everyone I met, even strangers having a news, sports, weather conversation said this: “This is Minnesota, if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.”

Last week Thursday, we were still in shorts and sleeveless/short sleeves in 80 to mid 80s Fahrenheit temps .  On Friday, we are wearing long sleeves, sweatpants/shirts.  The temp on Friday was 64F for the high.  The temperature is still dropping as I’m writing this.  Because of the cold front from Canada, Minnesota is feeling the cold arctic breeze.  Aaahhh, Uncle Lee, you sent some cool Canadian air to the Midwest.  Very thoughtful of you :D

I really like this cool days and nights.  The skeeters are disappearing.  I can’t wait for the first hard frost, then the bugs will definitely be gone.

Fall is not officially here yet, but last weekend and so far this week we are feeling it.  I kept telling myself to bring the camera with me on my evening walks with the boys, hah, I forgot again and again.

The boys are loving this cool weather, too.  Less panting and they can walk forever!  I shouldn’t complain since that is the only form of exercise I am into now.  Too lazy to work out on the elliptical or the Bowflex.

DB is thinking of turning the heat on tonight.  The weather channel says the temps in the cities will drop to the mid 30s Fahrenheit, I said it’s too early in the year to turn the heat up.  Poor guy, everyday since last week he kept telling me “We have to move to Texas or somewhere where it’s warmer in the winter.” o.O Yikes for me!

Someone loves my blog

Awwww……I feel so special, like Trinity who loves my blog so much, I can’t describe how it feels.  Ecstatic :D   I’m grinning from ear to ear.

One of the reasons why I started this blog was to update my sister on what’s going on with me.  I do ramble on with my life here in Minnesota on this blog.  I try to be as articulate as possible; can’t write like a pro, but at least I can spill my thoughts out in words and it’s readable.

Now that I am writing some paid posts, there are more posts on this blog that are fillers, I have to admit that; however, I try to post the filler posts with something more meaningful.   I’m not a creative writer, so bear with me, I know my writing is more on the formal side.  I can’t write anything funny or a story, but what the heck, I think I am mighty proud of what I have accomplished with my blog, plus I have learned some things on the back-end of it, too.

So, Trinity, a BIG thank you to you for sending this love across the big pond to me.  :D

Exam Prep Software

Comments Off

A friend of ours, Nadeen, who is actually DB’s coworker, is still working on her Mortgage Broker Exam.  She told us the classes are not easy.  She has to attend classes every evening for 4 weeks.  Her instructor mentioned CompuCram, a mortgage lending prep exam software to them.  It cost about $69.00 and as soon as you purchase it, you can download it immediately to your PC.  The questions on the software are not precisely similar to the test providers, however, they are very close in style to the questions from the examination boards.  The software is 100% guaranteed money back to assist the candidates to pass their exam the first time.  When you purchase the software it is customized to the state you would like to obtain your license.   The questions are specifically written by a group of mortgage professionals exclusively for the state you wish to attain your broker license.

Nadeen said she is trying extremely hard to pass the exam as the real estate exams are established on national and state laws.   I am sure she will give CompuCram Exam Prep Software a thought particularly it has so many different variation of questions.  Try it and I am sure it will help you succeed.
