Smart For Two

DB sent me this website on Friday, told me to check it out.  He sent it to me at 2:15 p.m. when I was trying to get my reports done, I clicked on the link once and didn’t have the time to read through the verbiage.  I was actually trying to bust my butt to  get stuff done since I was wasting my time chatting online with Simmie and then with my neighbor for an hour.  Payback time!

I asked DB what the hell was that, he replied “A new style car.”  My reply was “As long as it’s free, I will take it.” You know what his response was: “Not this one, major coffin on wheels!!!!!!!!!”

Is it Monday, already?

Golly, Monday is here and my mind keeps telling me it’s Sunday.  I’m must be tired: eyes are itching and stinging, a sign of tiredness.  Still putzing while at work.

It was another super duper quick weekend.  I didn’t feel like blogging – not in the mood and was busy on the phone with Nicole.  “Boil porridge” that’s what my mom will have said she’s around and will give me that disgusted look.

On Saturday did my usual grocery shopping and ran some errands; did the usual hateful chore; and cooked dinner.  I was on the phone again with Nicole and Simmie going over our plans for the next day.

The three of us met at Surabhi Restaurant, an Indian (the one with the red dot, not the feathers) restaurant for lunch.  It was the first time both Simmie and I met Nicole.  It is always nice to put a face to the voice.  From there we went to Ikea and to the Super Target in Minnetonka, I think that was where we went :) and to Trader Joe’s.  I have wanted to go to Trader Joe’s for the longest time since my brother in Boston told me about it.  Cheap organic grocery store.  It beats the prices at my neighborhood organic store, Valley Natural Foods.  It is a co-op store where the business supports the local farms and products.  I step into that store if I need something with no MSG, transfat or just plain organic.  Yeah, I’m a little bit going towards that direction.  Also, I have never drove to that part of the city (Minnetonka and Chanhassen).  Simmie, hat’s off to you!  You sure knows where the best places to go.

I can’t wait for the weekend again.  Looks like I’m wishing my life away!  But I like weekends *a tinge of whinning going on here* Maybe some cheese to go with the “whine”?
