Medical equipment at Allegro Medical

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

My friend Casey, who is caring for her sick and elderly mom is praising how Allegro Medical has helped her with all the medical equipment she needed in order to care for her mom in her, Casey’s, home.  Her mom suffered a stroke about six months ago and was hospitalized at the University of Minnesota Hospital Riverside in Minneapolis.  The stroke her mom suffered made her incapable of doing much.  She was bedridden for 3 months as she was unable to move her right side of her body, and her speech was slurring, too.  Her mom receives physical therapy twice a week at Casey’s home after she was discharged from the hospital.  With PT she is able to walk with a aid of a walker.  Allegro Medical has all the right equipment Casey wanted for her mom like the Merry Walker Ambulation Device – 4 Wheel Institutional model.  It allows her mom to walk independently without the aid of someone assisting her wherever she needs to go.  And another great purchase from this well known online medical equipment supplier is the toilet seat extender that comes with two side arms.  I wish there were these kind of equipment when my grandma had her stroke.

Urine Test

SD sent this to me couple weeks ago.  I know for a fact that those who I know and are working, and pay their taxes agrees to this below message.

Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me.
I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test
with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people
who don’t have to pass a urine test. Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine
test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them??

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on
their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone
sitting on their ass, doing drugs, while I work… Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public
assistance check ?????

I totally do not agree with the state’s thinking of welfare.  Minnesota has the most generous welfare program in the country.   If folks still have a pair of good limbs, get their lazy butts out and look for a job.  I rather see my taxes go to the National Guards or the Reserves.
