Today is my first day back to work. Since I am still not taking any solids, I am so weak. Feel like a baby who can’t eat solids yet. I tried to eat solids yesterday, but it didn’t sit well in my stomach. What will I have for meals today at work? Soup and more soup, I guess. I might go to the cafeteria and get some scramble eggs. I had some scrambled eggs yesterday morning and I was fine.
I’m back to writing paid posts again. Since I took a long hiatus from making money, I should get back to it asap. It does help to pay the bills and credit cards. So, folks, you will be seeing paid posts floating around again. Sorry, guys, but I need to do what I need to do to make money.
DB is still looking for a job. End of the year is not the best time to look for a job. I am hoping that by beginning of the year, it will be better for him in terms of looking for a job. He sure does not seem to be worried, but maybe he is just putting a face to show to me that all is fine.
The house is littered with the stuff I brought home from my vacation. It needs a good cleaning up and clearing of unwanted crap strewn over the guest bed, floor and the basement is filled with clothes need to be laundered. DB will be doing the laundry today and we need to shop for groceries this weekend.
Work is still the same. I have a few reports to run. Today is my boss’ flex day, however, she left an email for me to work on the reports….like I didn’t know. I have been doing these reports during this time of the year for 6 years. Very difficult to forget my duties.
It is also the time of the year….holiday luncheons. Our HR department is holding a luncheon next week, Dec 19. It’s a potluck, and I still have not decided what to bring. Initially I wanted to take that day off, but since I have been sick and took all my sick and vacation days, I have no damn choice but to attend this luncheon. As you can see, I’m not really a very sociable type of person.
Ok, here are some pictures taken during my trip.
