I am off tomorrow so I can get some stuff done at home and get ready for my trip.   I have been doing some shopping online the past few months.  Some things that I cannot get at the stores I get them online, one of them is a pair of FitFlops in size 5.  There are no size 5′s in stores like Macy’s. Then I also have some other skincare stuff I bought online. DB was sort of saying is it Cyber Monday already since all the shipments came 5 days after I ordered them which happened on a Monday. hahahaha, nope it’s not and I wish it was. I have never shop on the Monday after Thanksgiving. I might this year just for the heck of it!

The last 2 weeks when the weather was warmer, DB did a lot of outside work.  I didn’t  help him outside coz of the sun.  Yeah, the sun is my enemy now. The patio itself is a piece of work. Some of the leaves from last fall were still around. I told him to get them sucked up by the blower and then hop over to Menards or Home Depot to look at their pressure washers, rent one to clean up the patio.  hahahaha, isn’t it easy for me to just talk and let him do all the hard work?  I think it’s fair!  Anyways, he said he will get the patio cleaned up by the time i get back from my trip.  We shall see.

Tomorrow is payday which means it’s an off day for the boss. If only I can have flex Fridays off. Every payday (bi-weekly) is a no work day for her. She told me her friends and her kids are having a big camp out near Canon Falls. It’s an annual thing that the family and their close friends will get together at the rv parks for three days. It’s a great experience for their grandchildren, she said.  No doubt, I said, but renting the RV is expensive but they have eight people to split the costs, so that is not too bad at all.  I am waiting for the day I can go on an RV road trip!  Some day…..

DBs was already asked if he would come for a Halloween party this October. Isn’t it too early to even think of Halloween in June? Summer is sort of here, but not officially here till June 20th. DB was talking to his buddy, Mark last night. He told DB they (he and Nadine) are going to have a Halloween party the third week of October. He said Nadine was thinking of getting some affordable leather lingerie for part of her costume. Goodness, I have not even thought of what I want to do after my vacation, and these two are already talking about what costumes to wear for Halloween. Geez! I told DB it’s too early for me to think so far ahead.

Couple more days and I’m for my vacation.  I have started some sort of packing but there are still a lot more to pack.  All toiletries and over the counter meds were checked off from my to bring list.  This time around I’m not bringing with me any Liporexall. I think my metabolism is burning fast enough as it is, or maybe I’m just watching the portions I’m putting in. Whatever it is, I don’t need any diet pills this time around. I didn’t do any shopping for anyone for this trip. No “buah tangan” (gifts) at all. Reason being….recession!
